The 4th is fast approaching which means Julie Glowka and Cindy Thrasher are busily wrapping up all the preparations before the big day. That includes everything from lining up the parade participants to planning the park events to fundraising. It's a lot of work and requires a lot of volunteers to put it on, but it really is enormous fun and a highlight of our year. What I Know 6-20-12

I am slowly getting back into the flow of all things StAP - and there's a lot to catch up on. In spite of summer starting, things are percolating here and there. The first Park B4 Dark is tomorrow night from 5-8pm. The weather looks marvelous, low 80's, slight breeze, sunny - should be perfect weather for some food, shopping and music. C'mon down! the 4th of July is fast approaching as well and Julie Glowka and Cindy Thrasher have done their usual excellent organizational job pulling together...

What I Know 6-13-12

I'm back. And with those simple words the complexity returns. First of all, I had a really fun time visiting friends and destinations in Europe over the past 3 weeks. It was a once in a lifetime experience in honor of my wife and my 30th wedding anniversary and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance. We will no doubt be living in a box down by the river in our retirement years (I thought the euro was failing?) but you never know if you're going to make it that far. So if we do, we'll...
