What I Know 12-18-13

This will be my last blog of 2013 as I'm taking the next couple weeks off. I appreciate all of you who read or scan or even comment on my weekly musings. I've been doing this for the last couple years at the direction of my board, who wanted me to share my community activity and connections with a wider audience. What I Know 12-11-13

Okay I admit, although it's probably toasty at the 3rd Place, I am staying home as the temp plunges to negative digits - during the day! But then, it was cold for the Saint Anthony Park Community Foundation's 1st Annual Forum and Info Fair last Thursday night and over 120 people showed up. We had a dozen non-profit groups for our Info Fair portion and 5 panelists for our forum. It was very informative and interesting to hear their perspectives on their organizations and the community.

First off, if I don't want to further alienate my marketing chair, Josh Becerra, I have to remind everyone that tomorrow night,ThursdayDec. 5, from 6:30-8pm the Saint Anthony park Community Foundation is hosting a "State of the Park" panel discussion and non-profit information fair at the St. Anthony Park Elementary School.
