This afternoon I will attend a party for neighbor and friend, Paul Fate, who is retiring as head of Common Bond after 7 years. Under his leadership, the organization has grown dramatically serving more people with affordable housing and services, strengthened its funding base, and become a more effective and wide-reaching solution for so many in need. He and his wife, Ann, have raised their three kids here and contributed much to the welfare of St. Anthony Park with Paul serving on the Foundation board as both member and chair. So, on behalf of our board and the neighborhood, I will pass on our congratulations for a job well done.
